Day 1: Arrival Hanoi (D)
Upon arrival at the airport, Pick up to your Hotel in Hanoi. Free time explore Hanoi, and overnight in Hanoi.
Day 2: Hanoi Departure (Night train)
Our tour will be started at 20:45 at the lobby of the hotel. Our guide will pick you up and transfer to the Hanoi Railway station for the overnight to Sapa.
Day 3: Lao Cai – Bac Ha Market – Sa Pa (Sunday) (L)
Early departure from Lao Cai train station on Saturday morning to arrive to the Bac Ha market place. Spend three hours joining the local tribal peoples including Flower H’mong, Black Zao, Phu La and Tay for the market activities and festive atmosphere. All peoples in their best traditional costume gather every Sunday for shopping, but socializing is of great importance. The cattle and clothing sections are the most interesting until 11.00 and then come the food section where peoples meet, talk, enjoy food and especially drink a kind of locally made corn-wine. Picked up and transfer to Sa Pa. Overnight at the hotel in Sa Pa Tower.
Day 4: Sa Pa – Lao Chai – Ta Van village- Lao Cai (B, L)
Early departure from Sa Pa at about 08.00am. You first sneak through the Sapa market and leave the busy town behind. After a couple of minutes, you follow a road going downhill to Cat Cat village. You will stop by a waterfall and a hydroelectric station for a while before continuing the trek on a dirt trail through rice paddy terraces. You also will enjoy spectacular scenery while walking along a narrow river. You eventually arrive in Y Linh Ho village of Black Hmong minority, where you can take a rest while you are served lunch nearby the river.
After lunch, you head toward Muong Hoa valley. You will pass through Lao Chai village of Black Hmong minority and then Tavan village of Giay minority by following a very popular trekking route. You will return Sapa from Tavan by car. Then, transfer back Lao Cai for overnight on train.
Day 5: Hanoi (B, L, D)
Arrival in Hanoi railway station at 5.am and transfer to Hanoi Old Quarter, have breakfast and relax and then we will take part in Hanoi City Tour. The first we will visit Ho Chi Minh Complex where we will spend a couple of hour to visit the Mausoleum of Ho Chi Minh, his former stilt-house residence, the Presidential Palace, the Ho Chi Minh museum and one pillar pagoda. Leaving the complex we keep going to see the Temple of literature. Lunch will be served at local restaurant.
After lunch, we will visit one of the most interesting museums in Vietnam; Museum of Ethnology, which is widely acknowledged as the best in the country and has an extensive display dedicated to Vietnam's 54 Ethnic minority peoples. Following by that we will wander around the city by Cyclo to see the real life of Hanoi as well as the difference parts the city. After that we will take one-hour rickshaw around theOld Quarter, known as the 36 streets, this bustling area of narrow streets is home to literally thousands of small businesses and shopkeepers. Originally, each of the 36 streets names' was related to the products being sold there.
Day 6: Hanoi- Halong (B, L, D)
Welcome on board of Halong Cruise and set sail through bay while lunch is served. Passage into the magical bay, where thousands of sculpted limestone islands rise from the waves like dragons’ teeth. Opportunity to visit beautiful limestone grotto, go swimming or sunbathing. Enjoy cocktails while watching sunset and later unwind at Ginger restaurant. If weather permits, a short night cruise could bring you a nice discovery of the sea life by night.
Day 7: Halong bay - Hanoi (B, L, D)
Greet the day with a morning Tai Chi exercise with an opportunity to view the sunrise over the bay. After breakfast, a short trek to a nearby summit. Return on board for a final glimpse of the Halong Bay while cruising back to the dock. Drive back to Hanoi. Overnight in hanoi.
Day 8: Hanoi- Hoa lu Tam Coc (B, L, D)
