1. Itinerary

Day 1: Hanoi – Ba Vi Np (-/L/D)

7:00 am, Pick up at your hotel in Hanoi - then drive to Ba Vi National Park 60km Northwest of Hanoi. Upon arrive. Check in National Park, then discover some bird trails at knee of Tan Vien mountain. Walk around then drive to the center of the park. Check the birds at pine forest. then drive to old french church. Check in hotel in the mid of park. then having lunch at local restaurant.

Afternoon, check the birds along some trails around the way to Thuong Temple, have dinner & overnight in hotel... Have dinner and overnight in Ba Vi National Park.

Day 2: Ba Vi – Tam Dao Np (B/L/D)

Early morning, walking around to looking some native birds around the garden. Then have breakfast, after breakfast, Then transfer to Tam Dao National Park, Upon arrive start to see the birds along trails. There are some proposing of focus to Blue-naped Pitta, Short-tailed Parrotbill, Grey Laughingthrush and Streak-breasted Scimitar Babbler. Seeing several other sought-after species will be the best way to finalist our trip, and here we may see Ashy Bulbul, Black-throated, Laughing thrus, Chestnut Bulbul, Fujian Niltava, White-gorgeted Flycatcher, Coral-billed Scimitar Babbler, Spot-necked Babbler, Chestnut-collared Yuhina (split from Striated), Greater Rufous-headed and Short-tailed Parrotbills and Collared Treepie... Have Lunch at local restaurant. Keep going to see another bird trails for looking further birds. Have dinner & Overnight in hotel.

Day 3: Tam Dao - Tu Le - Mu Cang Chai (B/L/D)

Early morning, walking around to looking some native birds around the garden. Then have breakfast, after breakfast, Then transfer to Tu Le (Mu Cang Chai) for around 5 hours bus ride, have lunch on the way. Upon arrive, check in homestay, then walk around Tu le village, enjoy the most of beautiful rice paddy and walk around  valley for take bird in the gardens. Have dinner and Overnight in village.

Day 4: Che Tao Habitat Species Conservation Area (B/L/D)

Have breakfast, then transfer to Mu Cang Chai, some stop en-route for picture of beautiful scenery at Khau Pha pass, keep going for visit the Che Tao Habitat Species Conservation area, upon arrive walk around center to discovered hidden area to we can see the birds as Pale-throated Wren-Babbler (Near Endemic) and the extremely rare White-throated Wren-Babbler (Endemic). Have lunch at local restaurant, afternoon, walk around some trails to see more birds. Have dinner and overnight in Mu Cang Chai.

Day 5: Mu Cang Chai – Sapa (B/L/D)

Early morning, walking around to looking some native birds around the garden. Then have breakfast, after breakfast, Then transfer to Sapa for around 4 hours bus ride, have lunch on the way. Upon arrive, check in homestay, then walk around Ham Rong mountain for check some birds in around such as Black-headed Greenfinch, Black-throated Tit, Brown-breasted Bulbul, Rufous-winged Fulvetta, enjoy the beautiful gardens. Have dinner and overnight at Hotel in Sapa.

Day 6: Sapa - Tram Ton - Love Waterfall - Golden Stream - Sapa (B/L /D)

Early wake up, then transfer to Tram Ton Pass - Fansipan mountain (2800m) by private car, upon arrive Pass, taking the bird trails and photo around Love waterfall in the center of Hoang Lien National Park for Black-faced Laughingthrush, White-browed Fulvetta, Stripe-throated and White-collared Yuhina, Green-tailed Sunbird, Chestnut-headed Tesia, White-browed Bush Robin, Golden Parrotbill, Warblers, Rosefinches, Mountain Tailorbird, Hill Prinia, Scimitar Babblers, Wren Babblers, Shortwing. Have sort break some time near waterfall for breakfast box, tea & coffee is served. Have lunch on return.

Afternoon, check further birds around Tram Ton – end of the trail (ranger station – 1920m) for many species; Nuthatches, Yuhinas, Minlas, Wablers (residents and migrations), Flycatchers, Fulvettas, Tits, Parrotbill, Sunbirds…Have dinner and overnight in Sapa

Day 7: Sapa – Bac Ha (B/L/D)

Early morning, going to Silver Waterfall - Cat Cat village for looking the birds: Little Forktail, White-capped Water Redstart, Plumbeous Water Redsart, Small Niltava, Whiskered Yuhina. Then return to hotel for breakfast, After that transfer to Bac Ha town, Have lunch upon arrive, check in homestay in Bac Ha town. Afternoon, walking to Pho village, on the way have some hidden trails to see the native bird around beautiful garden and terraces. Have dinner and overnight at homestay in Bac Ha - Lao Cai.

Day 8: Bac Ha – Quan Ba (Ha Giang) - (B/L/D)

Have breakfast, then transfer to Du Gia National Park for around 6 hours bus ride, have lunch on the way. Along the way have some stop for taking photos down beautiful landscape. Upon arrive, check in resort, then walk around mountain for check some birds. Have dinner and overnight in Quan Ba - Ha Giang.

Day 9: Quan Ba - Du Gia National Park (B/L/D)

Have breakfast, then transfer to Du Gia National Park for around 2 hours bus ride, upon arrive national park - walk around for check some birds at hidden trails. Lunch at local restaurant. Afternoon, check further wildlife animals, then transfer to Meo Vac, upon arrive, check in Meo Vac village homestay. Have dinner and overnight in Meo Vac - Ha Giang.

Day 10: Meo Vac  - Ba Be National Park (B/L/D)

Have breakfast, then transfer to Ba Be National Park for around 6 hours bus ride, have lunch on the way. Along the way have some stop for taking photos down beautiful landscape. Upon arrive, check in hotel in Ba Be National Park, then walk around forest - lake shore for check some birds. Have dinner and overnight in hotel - Ba Be National Park.

Day 11: Ba Be National Park (B/L/D)

Have breakfast, then take the boat trip getting along Ba Be Lake, check some local birds in hidden area of Ba Be National Park, getting along river to see further birds, have lunch in village close Dau Dang waterfall. Keep going along river crossing the Puong cave, the end stop for taking transfer by car to Cao Bang for 3,5 hours bus ride. Upon arrive, check in hotel. Have dinner and overnight in Cao Bang city.

Day 12: Cao Bang  - Phia Oac-Phia Den National Park – Cao Bang (B/L/D)

Have breakfast, then transfer to Phia Oac-Phia Den National Park for around 2 hours bus ride, have some stop for taking photos down beautiful landscape. Upon arrive, check the birds around National Park, hiking to the television and Phja-Oac view point for check some birds at 1931m high. Late afternoon, drive back Cao Bang, have dinner and overnight in hotel in Cao Bang.

Day 13: Cao bang - Bac Son Valley (B/L/D)

Have breakfast, then transfer to Bac Son valley for 4 hours bus ride. Upon arrive, have lunch and check in homestay. Afternoon, hiking to the Na Lay mountain pick, check some birds around television tower and some trails, Enjoy beautiful scenery from viewpoint, taking the picture down terrace at sunset. Have dinner and overnight in homestay in village.

Day 14: Bac Son valley - Than Sa - Phuong Hoang Nature Reserve - Thai Nguyen (B/L/D)

Have breakfast, then transfer to Than Sa - Phuong Hoang Nature Reserve for around 2 hours bus ride, upon arrive Nature Reserve - walk around for check some birds at hidden trails. Lunch at local restaurant. Afternoon, check further wildlife animals around waterfalls, then transfer to Nui Coc Lake - Thai Nguyen, upon arrive, check in hotel. Have dinner and overnight hotel.

Day 15: Nui Coc Lake - Hanoi (B/L/D)

Have breakfast, then take the boat trip to getting around Ho Nui Coc, stop some island around the lake - walk around for check some birds. Lunch at local restaurant. Afternoon drive back to Hanoi. upon arrive Hanoi, finish trip at your hotel.
