Trang An Grottoes: locating on the southern edge of the Red River Delta in Ninh Binh and at the North of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, about 90km southeast of Hanoi. The heritage has an area of 6,226 hectares, the buffer zone has an area of 6,026 hectares, mostly wetlands and rice fields.
Itinerary
1. ITINERARY
Morning: Pick you up at 8.00am at hotel in Hanoi, then drive towards to the South of Hanoi to Phat Diem cathedral in Ninh Binh, it takes about 2,5 hours to get there(150 km).
The trip starts to visit Phat Diem cathedral building, this is one of the most beautiful and unique cathedral in Vietnam, it become the center of Catholicism in north Vietnam.
The whole complex were built by stone between 1875-1899 and has been classified as a historic and cultural relic. The cathedral is the main focus of worship for Ninh Binh Province's 140,000 Roman Catholics.
Then drive in 30 minutes move to Trang An, have lunch at Vietnamese restaurant with local food(1hr).
Afternoon: Take an exciting boat ride in Trang An grottoes (King Kong movie) that we will enjoy the spectacular scenery while gliding along the Sao Khe river and some water dark cave of Trang An, during the boat trip at about 2.5 hrs, you will have some stop to visit temple & pagoda in peaceful area.
After boat trip, transfer to Hoa Lu - the ancient capital of Vietnam for visiting 2 beautiful temples before transfer back to Hanoi.
Return to Hanoi at around 7:30 pm, thanks for joining us and we hope to serve you another time.
